-_--_--_- whew.. i'm so sleepy... what a weekend.. worked 16 hours saturday and 15 on sunday... lots of kids and lots of heat.. but had a pretty fun time. In our team I got to meet 2 students from Poland, 2 students from Ecuador and 1 student from Czech Republic. Hope everyone had a great weekend... I'm off to bed in a few minutes :)

I may be taking a break from VJ for awhile. I emailed the Embassy again, and again was not replied to. I'm just getting to the point where I'm not sleeping, not knowing what's happening with our case, and I think I need to distance myself from all this so I can cope with the rest of my life gracefully. I may wander through a bit but I just don't know yet.

Hope everyone's week is off to a good start.

Oh Jean...I am so sorry that things are seem to take forever in your case...I understand how you feel...or rather...to put it in better words...I know that I am one of the lucky ones who got processed in a very short time and have no right to complain and would not know how it feels to be stuck in your situation but I can see very well how taking a break from VJ can be of a therapeutical value...Please take care of yourself and we will be waiting here to hear from you when things will get better...You are in my prayers....

Dorothy

I can empathize with you Jean :( The not knowing and the waiting are the worst and it can be so stressful. It feels like your life is in a void right now and in someways has completely stopped. Take some time for yourself and your family and start doing all the little jobs that you think needs to be done. It's difficult at first to try to stop worrying about your husband's case, but it's out of your hands and at this point there is nothing you can do about it, but wait for the embassy to answer. Take care yourself!!!

Jean, I'm sorry to hear you're in this place... it sucks, but you've got to take care of yourself, so do what you need to do to deal w/ that.

In other news, I had Said wake me at 3am so I could call the embassy when they opened - only to find out it's a Moroccan holiday today (King's bday). So, no news, guess I'll try again tomorrow. Ok... hope you all have a fine day today. Praying for us all (F)

Well the weekend was good. I worked on Saturday morning and went to work with my husband delivering pizzas all afternoon and night. It's always good to spend time with him. We slept in on Sunday until 9. We went shopping and then I cleaned the house and made B'stilla while he slept. Had my dad and friend over for dinner, then my husband took me to get ice cream after they left. All in all it was a good weekend. But this morning has been not so good. I woke up feeling great. Got ready for work and my husband took me to the bus stop on his way to work. About 5 min after he dropped me off I realized I had forgot to get my pass for the week on Saturday, and I didn't have cash on me either. So I went to ACME/Starbucks and got a latte and $5 cash back so I could get to work. Well I spilt the latte all over me and my purse! So now my purse smells like coffe and everything is sticky, including my cell phone! I made it to work on time at least. I think I am going to ask to go home early today. Maybe I'll go down to the waterfront and read.

Also I finally got the tax info from the IRS on Saturday. So now I can file for 2004 and get all the information incase they send the AOS packet back because it's missing that information.

So I hope everyone had a good weekend and has a good day today.

Jean... I'm praying for your situation. I hope everything clears up soon and that it will all be over soon for you.

Jean, I can totally empathize with you. When I get online I check USCIS obsessively and read VJ. When I read the reunions I get a bit sad because I want this "journey" to be overwith soon. This is why I don't have internet at home. So I won't check and recheck like a mad woman. That's why I love my weekends so much. No net at home so no obsessing. Take a break if you need it and clear your mind. You'll get your good news soon inshallah. I can feel it! Take care habibity. (L)

On a happier note.....Our K-3 has been approved! I received not one, not two, but three emails saying our I-129F was approved!!!! Phew! I guess all that bitching and moaning I did the other day was for nothing. Ahhhh PMS is lovely isn't it?
