Good evening VJ. I am just wondering how soon can one start preparing Affidavit of Support. Based on previous timeline, i am thinking that i should be approved by Dec - January 2011, and I think i might need a co-sponsor and want to know how long does tax info, etc valid for as i am wondering if i can gather relevant info by November 2010?

Would this be too early and become obsolete within a 3-month timespan?

IRS tax transcripts never expires. You can get 2007, 08 and 09. Be prepared for 2010 too if the AOS review happens after Apr 15, 2011.

Hey LOTO, not sure if you have ever seen this, but the NVC paperwork for my case specifically requested 2009 tax records even though it was mid-march, 2010. Just my experience.
