I think he meant he got is NOA1....go on the USCIS website..they got the criteria for expedite for I-130...and then you call USCIS and you can request an expedite..but you have to give them the reasons why..based off what they have in their list on their website.

Here is the Criteria:

Expedite Criteria

All expedite requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and are granted at the discretion of the Director. The burden is on the applicant or petitioner to demonstrate that one or more of the expedite criteria have been met. The criteria are as follows:

Severe financial loss to company or individual

Extreme emergent situation

Humanitarian situation

Nonprofit status of requesting organization in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States

Department of Defense or National Interest Situation (Note: Request must come from official United States Government entity and state that delay will be detrimental to our Government)

USCIS error

Compelling interest of USCIS

If you have already filed your application or petition:

You can make an expedite request by contacting the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283. The NCSC will take a “service request” and forward your expedite request to the office with jurisdiction over the application or petition. You also have the options of 1). visiting your local office by scheduling an InfoPass appointment or 2). writing a letter to the local office or service center.

I dont think just because your wife is pregnant will fit the criteria....if it did, everyone would be getting pregnant to just be expedited. Not saying it wont happen, but at this point it may not get approved. All you can do is try and all they can tell you is no. The easiest way to expedite is being military and deploying though. Good luck

I've read somewhere in this forum that someone got his expedite approved because his wife is pregnant. :)

A man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. – Genesis 2:24

You can always ask, however simple pregnancies are not a criteria for an expedite. The only ones I've seen where pregnancy was a criteria was if it was exceptionally high risk or the medical care in the US was substantially greater than in the spouses home country.

You can always apply, just don't get your hopes up, MANY have asked, very very few were granted

Good luck

As others have said...highly unlikely but you could try. I, personally, would not at this time in case something does arise later in the case where expediting is genuinely needed. Congratulations on the pregnancy.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
