Dunno what is going on here.

Despite the fact that they have 'other' visas, I am pretty sure USCIS is mismanaged and totally inept and gives the impression of lazy government workers another meaning.

I really hope you all get your NOA2s asap.

everything about this process is completely ridiculous, we are still at NVC because they can't figure out that there is no Embassy in Comoros and that the Embassy in Madagascar is for Madagascar and Comoros.

everything about this process is completely ridiculous, we are still at NVC because they can't figure out that there is no Embassy in Comoros and that the Embassy in Madagascar is for Madagascar and Comoros.

I really hope you all get your NOA2's soon.

Thanks, hope they figure this stuff out for you soon. Might want to try calling the DOS 202 number and asking them if they can "fix" this mess since technically NVC is part of state department.

Received the NOA2 in the mail today! The text message and email didn't come until about four hours AFTER the mailman delivered the envelope. Good luck to everyone who's still waiting, and call your congressman/senators... We were approved the same day they called.

I-129F NOA2: 2011-04-05

Interview: 2011-5-16 - Approved!

Received Visa: 2011-05-23

We were able to do do that at first too. They fool you on that one too,..every regular officer wont be able to put it in, cuz the system wont let them. So they choose the Option "OTHER" and write in it that standart bs and satisfy you that they did sth,...

you recieve a letter after 14 days sayin it is still pending..=(

I am waiting for the reply from them .My Congressman and senator is looking into the matter for me also . I am hoping and praying that I get a positive answer soon . My patience is wearing thin . :lol:

I am so happy for all the approvals today...but I feel physicially ill because when my senator looked into why we had not been approved on Tuesday she was told we are undergoing security checks and there is no time frame or way to expedite and to check back in sixty days. I could die.

October 5, 2010: I-129F received

October 12, 2010: NOA1 e-mail received, routed to VSC

October 16, 2010: NOA1 hard copy received (dated October 7, 2010)

April 18, 2011: RFE e-mail

April 20, 2011: RFE hardcopy received

April 20, 2011: RFE response sent to VSC

May 2, 2011: E-mail confirming VSC has received RFE response

July 27, 2011: NOA2 e-mail received (9 months, 2 weeks, and 6 days (292 days) after NOA1

i called NVC yesterday and they said on thursday they transferred by request to a different department and sent a notice to the embassy in Madagascar asking whether they would take our case. They should have an answer by Monday because I sent a letter to the US Embassy in Madagascar asking the same thing and they responded to me within 24 hours. Hopefully my petition will be on the way to Madagascar next week.

Also I mailed out the forms to Ali and they arrived in Comoros this afternoon (it only took 3 days which is AMAZING), so he will go pick them up on monday.
