I guess I am taking a different attitude than most. Of course I want my wife to be here yesterday, but when we started the process I knew that the goal time was 5 months for USCIS to finish their parrt of the process, so I prepared myself to wait 5 months. I still check every day to see what is happening and if it is approved earlier than 5 months I will be ecstatic, but I won't start to stress until that 5 month window passes. As someone said on one of the threads. While our petition may be the most important thing in the world to each of us individually, the people at the center have no emotional connection to the case and every one they see belongs to somone who feels theirs is the most important and should be processed right away. My suggestion is take a step back, accept that it will be 5 months and don't stress unduly until it is 4 1/2 months. It was Benjamin Franklin I think who said something to the effect of "Plan for the worst. If the worst happens then you aren't surprised, but if the best happens it is a pleasant surprise."

Peace and patience to all.

Based on VJ reports, CSC appears to have approved an I-129F (NOA2) on 10-14-10!!! And the original NOA1 was from June, which means it is not just an old application finally getting approved:

Igor's List (CSC - I-129Fs)

I'm also hoping it was a regular, non-expedited application...

Keep 'em coming, CSC!
