So i been in the usa for 4 months now!

and i have no friends :( hahaha

its kind of hard… because i cant really meet people i have no job(obviously waiting for my EAD)

SOOO …. just curious

what do you all do to keep busy in the day time ?? la la la la la la la la :unsure:

My wife is in the same boat. She spends most of her time reading or on facebook :wacko: Although now she is looking for a dog to adopt.

I work from home 95% of the time so at least she has some company.

Gosh, I wish I had the balls to volunteer...

I've been reading like crazy too, and cooking, and walking our dumb dog who thought it would be awesome to bark at squirrels at 1:00 am this morning, waking up the whole neighbourhood...

And drinking a glass of wine here and then :P

I work from home 95% of the time so at least she has some company.

That sounds like my dumb dogs who bark at leaves that blow past them haha. Although I will make friends once i am there I hope. If not I will just hunt down all the MD, west Va, northern VA and washington VJers and I will randomly visit everyone haha :)

Ashenflowers started Geocaching this summer and she got me into it, too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geocaching

The only thing you need is a GPS and a sense of adventure. It's lots of fun and is good exercise, too.

I guess Va is a great state lol I am going to be in maryland for a year but When we go to buy a house I will be loooking in Virginia again.

Virginia's awesome. Looking forward to a Canadian meetup at some point. :)

Me too, but i am guessing it wont be till march now, unless the weathers not too bad this year. I would hate to be at a get together with our butts freezing off. I am definately up for it though, there seems to be a ton of us :)
