Can you believe after my husband was approved for his visa they told him to come on Wednesday at 3 to pick it up...and he made the trip actually that morning to drop off photos the CO forgot to ask for.........then at 3 they tell him and about 14 others to come back on Thursday at 3 which they did. My husband actually went at morning time and waited in line until 6 pm in the hot sun before someone finally came outside and told them come back on Friday the visa's are not there.....I called the department of state and also the embassy on Friday to find out what was going on and why my husband and others were treated this way and she assured me his visa is at the consulate but they were closing at that moment but he can come today MONDAY and pick up his visa at 3......My husband again went to the consulate today and can you believe this girl again was trying to tell him and others who waited all week to come back on Tuesday??? My husband demanded to talk to someone with authority and got hard with her and he got to go inside and was shown to sit in a chair and wait for an hour...After about an hour she comes back with his visa. These people have no feelings for others and making them travel hours, day after day and spending money on taxi's, buses, trains....I would like to know why our spouses are belittled just because they live in a 3rd world country? ....On a happier note....he does have his visa.

My husband says that is the Moroccan government who does not give the real value and respect to the Moroccan citizen and that is why the USA consulate does not pay attention to thier time or suffering from the distance they have to travel including all expenses.

WITH ALLAH ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!!! ALHUMDILALLAH

They did the same exact thing to Vanessa1's husband, as I recall. It sounds EXACTLY like what he went through.. His first taste of a US government office.. Mine got his the other day at the DMV.. He waited with me patiently for 2 1/2 hours for a 5 minute process at the window :P "Welcome to America"

I'm sorry he was put through that. My husband had something similar happen, finally got his visa the third time they called him in for it, after I e-mailed them to ask what was going on. They said the machine which attaches visas to passports was broken, and I've heard of that happening to others, but it's unfortunate they couldn't have communicated that better before beneficiaries spent entire days traveling and reserved hotel rooms for nothing. All of that travel is not cheap.
