Hi All,

My family's interview is now completed. As promised, I wanted to share the details with the community in hopes of this helping someone. I really truly appreciate the help/support that I received from you on this forum.

This is for ISL consulate. We flew to ISL & took the Islamabad Hotel (formerly Holiday Inn). This is a really nice hotel, but expensive. Not too far from the place where you have to go before you can go to the consulate. It also has an AVIS counter for car rentals. Hotel staff is friendly. Good food in the retaurant at the hotel.

We arrived there a day before & left hotel for consulate at 5:00 AM. The ride from hotel to the station where you have to go first is about 15 minutes. At that place you have to buy bus tickets to go to any consulates in ISL. We bought the tickets & waited. They call by the interview time & send people in buses to respective consulates. The waiting area is comfortable with free coeffee & drinks. Then when our time was up, we boarded the bus & arrived at the ISL US Embassy. Then, I let my family go inside for interview while I waited outside. It took a couple of hours. The interview went well. The interview officer asked 4 questions as below:

* Why do you want to go to US?

* How long your husband has been living in the US?

* When did your husband's divorce happen?

* Why did your divorce happen?

After that she mentioned that all of your documents are COMPLETE. And that you'll get you passports back in mail in about 15 days with visa. Thanks God this step is completed. As I'm preparing for my family's arrival in US, I'll for sure come up with questions :)

Thanks LOTO. I beleive that the sample questions which you & others listed helped quite a bit. Reviewing the questions helped such that the person is not surprised by sudden unfamiliar questions even if they are general qustions about your wife or husbnad.
