Sucks they are raising rates at the same time the exchange rate has been dropping too.......

Cutie, I am afraid your math is wrong. XOOM charges $9.99 for debit/credit card as mode of payment, according to their website.

Yes, debit cards process the same as a Credit card. The Bank Account option is an electronic check drafted off of your checking account and that it where the delayed pickup as well as the cheapest prices are.

Hmmm.... :blush: It's odd because ever since I'ved been using this service I'ved beed using the "pay with your U.S. bank" but I don't use a check I use my bank debit/credit card.I'm only paying used to be 4.99 and now 7.99 for the first time. They usually debit it from your account the next day but they already sent the money within minutes.

My experience was the same as Zia & Garys. When I used a debut card they treated it the same as a credit card. I had to send them a routing number and account number to get the lower flat rate.

Yep..got the same "PHFIFTY" email..50% off till Oct.31 with a U.S. bank account, more is using visa, master charge or discover card. At least through Oct. a $4 charge isn't too bad...last rate in Phili 43.03p...lowest I have seen in 5 years.. :huh:
