I am looking at the NOA1 that I received in the mail and want to make sure of a couple of things.

1) At the top it says I-797C, Notice of Action. It also says Notice Type: Receipt Notice and has the amount we paid. This is NOA1....correct??

2) On the bottom of this notice is the address for the California Service Center, P.O. Box 30111, Laguna Niguel, CA 92607. My envelope is also postmarked from Laguna Niguel, CA. Does this mean that my case has been transferred to CSC already?? No longer at NSC?? Do I have to adjust my timeline?? When I check my status and other timelines do I have to check CSC???

Agree with roi_aggie.

One point of clarification: When checking your status, the USCIS site is collective. Meaning that, irrespective of your processing center, the "USCIS site" will have all case updates.

Have you established a USCIS account to check updates?
