All my papers have been completed and I will be submitting my forms tomorrow. Can someone who has a Moldovan fiance please help me:

Page 2, Question 20:

"Your fiance will apply for a visa abroad at the American embassy or consulate at:"

Bucharest, Romania or Chisinau, Moldova.

As for the pictures provided as evidence of having met in the past two years:

Should I write on the back with pencil? Can I use my commercial printer to print the description on the back of the photos?

As always, thank you for your responses in advance. I couldn't have done all this without you guys!

Can't answer but maybe check those Embassy's websites for information; click on the Embassy Info button at the top of this page.

I printed onto labels and then affixed those to the back of my photos. Your choice, all listed sound fine.

As always, thank you for your responses in advance. I couldn't have done all this without you guys!

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

It states on the US embassy in Moldova that they DO NOT process immigrant visas. Technically the K-1 visa is a NON-immigrant visa BUT a lot of embassies process it as an immigrant visa. For that reason it is possible that they don't process K-1 visas in Moldova. I would try to contact the embassy in Moldova to get a clear answer on the matter.

Good luck on your journey

Bruno

That is exactly what is confusing me. I just searched the site and found the contact information. I will contact them A.S.A.P.

If anyone has already gone through this process and knows this answer I would still appreciate your input!

Another question has arose regarding the G-325A...

Applicants last address outside the United States for more than One year...

I did reside in Germany for more than 1 year as a child. Does this count?

It was before the age of 16.

Also there is here on VJ some timelines that you can sort by country. Here is what I found when I set the country to Moldova. It looks like most of the people there went through Bucharest, Romania. Though, some still put Moldova so I don't know if it's a mistake from them or what. It certainly seems you'll have to go through Romania embassy. Maybe you can contact one of the people on VJ that is from Moldova to confirm.

Hope that helped you.

Good luck on your journey

I would say YES it counts. List it. Read carefully, interpret literally. "List last address outside the US" Period. There is no age restriction, they do not ask if you have since lived somewhere else, etc. It is a simple question to answer. Your last address outside the US was the one in Germany.

The G-325a is used for a number of items and one is to sort YOU out from someone with a similar that is on a terrorist list, for example. MORE information helps to sort you out from others if it comes to that. That address is completely irrelevent, otherwise, to the process and will not hinder anything. In other words, there is no down side to listing it.
