hi everyone,my name is kat, from philippines and im engaged to this man for a year now. my fiance filed his petition in May through easyfianceevisa.com, its a website that processes visa esp k-1. im a bit confused if this will cause delay than us personally prepare everythng. when we check on the status online, it says initial interview and it says on june 9, they received the petition. we are under california service center and it says 5 months. my fiance told me that we are jut waiting to hear smething from them, would it be my schedule for medical exam and interview? im confused. is it possible that it will be done before or within december?

another thing is that, he is in the military, and he tried to call this month if they can expedite. and they said only if he will be deployed. he wont be deployed but he said yes just to have it expedited. they him to fax his id and the letter for deployment but he never did, he was busy at work and spent 2 weeks here. will it cause delay?

thank u. i appreciate ur thoughts

You wont get an expedite because he lied. He has no proof of deployment and they will know hes not deploying. NEVER LIE.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

we realized that so we never continue the expedite request. im wondering if it will cause delay or we still have the chance to get approved within 5-6 months.

thank you!

Nobody knows what's going to happen now, unfortunately. Hopefully they will let it fall away and continue processing the case. But there's been an assertion and a request based on a misrepresentation. That is not good. Maybe someone will come along who has heard of this type of scenario. I don't blame you for feeling frustrated and making a mistake, but it might be a big deal.

The general idea is that you are asking a favor of the government, and you'd better be really nice and honest and good throughout the whole process. You're basically just hoping now that they don't take note of the audacity of your fiance. And their record of ignoring bad behavior isn't great. I hope it works out, but I can't say what will happen. I'm sorry.

d0 u think we need to call uscis for this? let them know to just continue the regular pocess? thanks

I have no clue. You might repost this way: "Made a mistake: Lied about impending deportation to expedite. Should we wait patiently or try to correct this?"

Your case was just going slowly. We would have simply told you to be patient, and to start contacting people after 6 months. The lie is the unknown at this point.

Try to get some expert opinions before you act. Sorry I can't help you more.

Good day..just wondering, I checked your timeline how come it says your consulate is in Armenia??I thought you are from Philippines...anyways, kindly fill in your timeline too so that we would know what to help...hmmm..honestly, they are right..if you have just been honest, that might have been a help..anyways, as for us, we are also a May filer, we just go through the whole process by our selves without Immigration lawyers or website(just the VJ site, really very helpful..hehehe)..USCIS received our petition last May and I'm already here in the US last Sept.17,2010...we just followed and patiently wait for the whole process(hmm..4 months for us..God be the glory!!)...just try to call them and inquire..God bless sis..
