I'm trying to prepare the DS156 forms to send off to my fiance soon, but I'm not sure how to answer a couple of questions on the form:

Question #15 - Home address

There is no mail delivery service nor a way of identifying where he lives in his community. He only has a mailing address. Should I enter the mailing address here?

Question #22 - When do you intend to arrive in the U.S.?

At this point in time we are still awaiting our NOA2 and don't have a clue when his interview date will actually be or when he might be able to arrive in the US. Should we just make a guess here and hope his interview date is before the date on the application?

Question #39 - Was this application prepared by another person on your behalf?

This seems pretty obvious - since I am preparing the application for him, I suppose I will answer with my information on question #40?

06/17/2013 - NOA issued

06/19/2013 - Check cashed

06/21/2013 - Received NOA in mail.

06/26/2013 - Received biometrics letter.

11/18/2013 - APPROVED! Card production ordered

Also questions #32/33 - Do you intend to work/study in the U.S.?

Of course he will eventually, but I assume I answer no to these unless there were something pre-arranged in the U.S.?

click the example forms button, select the form you are filling out. Check out the example form that helps you fill out the form.

If you have no NOA2. Your forms need to be current to the date of the interview. If your forms are signd and dated months and months before the interview then you will have to redo them and get new evidence that is current as well ( if the forms require evidence ).

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Thank you, I didn't realize that was there. Helps a lot though I am still not sure how to answer the home address question since he doesn't really have one.

I realize I'm doing things a early and that I might have to do them over again. I'm doing this because I have a friend who is going back to Malawi in a couple weeks and can hand deliver all of these documents, evidence etc. directly to my fiance - last time I tried to send him things by mail it took nearly 3 months to arrive! I'm hoping that I will get lucky and everything will still be relatively current by the time he gets an interview (though judging by the way things are going, I am doubtful!!).
