so, can I staple the same forms to each other, like the I-129 which is 3 pages, I can staple those 3 pages together? I'll paperclip the page with the photo connected to the g325 then. thank you so much!!!! So excited! appreciate it !!

Don't staple. Don't staple anything except maybe the plastic baggie onto the plain white sheet. They are going to tear everything apart and reorganize it. Use clips for all things you want to have grouped together. Two-hole punch the top of all the papers. Don't staple. Bad staples.

If you Send Express the Address is not the Lockbox,

wheres the instructions as to where to send it too???? I don't want to screw this up.

Um the Instructions Page of the I-129 F that comes with the form states that any courier services that are not USPS and/or Express are sent to that adress instead of the Lockbox...

So you send it Standart it goes to the Lockbox, otherwise Express/Overnight or Fedexed it goes to the Lewisville Adress

a year? well we were going to be where I am which is in my parents basement, but i don't pay rent or anything, then work on getting our own place where we see fit.

yikes, and what do we do if we don't earn that much? I work 30 hours a week but i don't get that much

If you don't make that, you get a joint sponsor. You have a couple months to work that out, but there's nothing stopping you from getting the ball rolling. If you're going to be living in your parents' basement, one of them will probably help you out, yeah?

You will still be the primary sponsor. You'll get all your stuff together. Then your joint sponsor will do the same, separately. They must qualify for their household size plus your fiance, so the income threshold may be a little higher.

Each sponsorship packet will include tax returns for the last 3 years, w-2s for those years, a few recent pay stubs from work, and a letter from your employer saying when you started, what your pay is, and that you are an employee indeed. Must be on company letterhead. You can also get a bank statement showing your assets and when you opened the account. You ask you bank to prepare this. You don't need allllll this, but as much of it as you can get is good. Check out the I-134 instructions.

Wow, I'm not sure if they would or not. Bit disappointed about that, but ah well. I should be getting a payraise within the next month but I still don't think that'd give me loads more, plus its a part-time job cause I'm still in school. Wish they gave us a break for that! Almost done with my bachelors and hope to get a different job soon which hopefully pays better! I'd like to get things sorted as soon as I possibly can, but it looks like I could probably get my tax returns, w-2's and my pay stubs I can start printing them out now. Are these items that I have to send to him for his interview? I remember reading about it before when I was randomly checking out the things to send him but can't remember if this was one it. Getting a letter is easy enough though for me and the pharmacist could do that in a day tbh. What about stocks and stuff, they would need that info, I'm pretty sure I just read that on the link someone gave me earlier. Oh wait, just read what you wrote about assets!! sorry lol. My sister also works at the bank so I'm sure she can get me the info about when I opened my account. thanks for replying though

Thank you very much I really appreciate all of your help during this process, I'm just getting nervous now. I've been reading threads about jobs and living here I know how hard it is to find a job. Even my job is part-time, and while trying ot finish school I'm unsure of being able to find a job once I'm done with it. And with him, he's really great with computers, but he has his heart set on coming here because its cheaper than over there, which I agree with completely. I wish the job market were better, then I'd feel more secure about this, I don't want to be stuck living at home for a really long time!

But I'm in your shoes; I'm struggling and only just getting to the point that I qualify financially to sponsor Mr. Owl for the adjustment of status--the green card part that will allow him to work and help out. It's totally rough, but poor people make it work too.

I know that just doing what I do now is not going to be able to support us in the long run, and that he definitely would need to have a job, hopefully soon if possible when he does get here. *sigh* I just feel bad because now he's got a promotion at work and it's just really hard. Just a huge decision, that's for sure. I'd be worried about having to get a job over there as well though, cause I know it took a really long time for him to get the job he has now ! I have a feeling he and I have a lot of talking to do!!!!
