I am pretty sure I found those mini-corns in the ethnic food section in Canada too...

sometimes my hubby will make sandwiches with just bread and Doritos ...lol no mayo or anything just those two things....

Ok so it appears that I'm not the only one that does this ketchup thing then, we're just not that common even in Canada. Don't know where the hell it came from then, maybe just me as a kid being weird and liking strange food combinations like I do now I guess. Though still don't think I could ever try Ramen and Ketchup or Ice cream and ketchup.

I had never even known about the mayo and hamburgers, after all isn't that part of what the secret sauce is at McDonalds? Oh and at the liquor stores here you can buy Clamato juice or as they call it 'clam coctail'...

I put ketchup on my rice after the soy sauce, but that started due to a craving I had while pregnant with my second. I can't seem to eat it without it now just doesn't taste as good. I don't add it to fried rice just steamed for some reason.

I had a friend in Canada, vegetarian, who put ketchup on EVERYTHING and only drank diet pop.

I don't think I've ever seen her eat anything without ketchup or drink a glass of water.

i put mayo on just about everyting, hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches. ketchup i dont use on sandwiches but i do add it to the mayo on same items. most meat like roast beef etc its' mustard.

lately i've been putting bbq sauce on most of my stuff...i have no idea why. lol. maybe it's been too long since i had a bbq meal?

although what i miss..is good old HP Sauce... A1 just is not the same.

I find here that Kroger's and some Food Cities have a little british food section, so I can usually find HP sauce there. If not we have a World Market not too far away.

Pretty much all of the grocery stores here carry Clamato juice (some even have their store brand versions of it), which I was somewhat shocked to see. I could see that in states closer to the border, but not in TN. It would just be nice to be able to order a Ceaser when we go out for a meal

Not sure who has what grocery store near them, but the Bi-Lo here has an *small* international food section. They have HP sauce, and the Birds Custard Powder I need for my Nanaimo Bars!! They also have an Areo bar...but it's $1.59
