Hey guys ,

They have updated my case on USCIS website and its RFE step now , and they are sending me a letter of what they need, anyways , i need to know How long does it take after sending them the Evidence to approve my app?

That wouuld depend on what additional documents you are sending.

I dont think they have any such timeline as after you sending in the additional documents.

I wish they wont send many.and i wish it finishes soon.

Let me copy the email i got from USCIS after we sent the Documents back

On August 21, 2010, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use the processing time information on our website to estimate when this case will be done. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

09-21-2010 Case# assinged

09-22-2010 AOS and IV bill generated.

09-22-2010 Paid AOS and IV bill.

09/23/2010 Both bills show paid. Printed cover sheets.

09/27/2010 Mailed AOS & IV package (fedex).

09-28-2010 Package received at NVC 9:32am (signed for by J.Desmond)

10-04-2010 AOS & IV docs in AVR system.

10-08-2010 SIF.

10-21-2010 Case Closed.

It's a "hit and miss" situation. Some get approvals rather quickly after receiving the RFE response, and other people will wait up to the 60 days.

Engaged : 11/25/2009

Married : 02/12/2010

I-130 NOA 1: 03/21/2010

RFE : NONE

I-130 NOA 2 : 7/19/2010 (no touch's, no emails, no text notifications) Received Hard copy in mail 7/26 2010.

NVC Received : 8/02/2010

AOS Bill : 8/03/2010 ( Received Via Email after calling on 8/2/2010 )

Paid AOS Bill : 8/04/2010 ( Paid Invoice electronically )

AOS shown as paid : 8/05/2010

Mailed DS-3032 : 8/05/2010

Mailed I-864 pkg : 8/06/2010

NVC Receive i-864 : 8/09/2010

NVC Receive DS-3032 : 8/09/2010

IV Bill (available for pay): 8/20/2010

IV Bill Paid : 8/20/2010

IV Bill Shows Paid! : 8/23/2010 (just waitin for the docs from my wife now) should be here next week!

IV Package Sent Finally: 9/04/2010 (due to arrive 9/7)

Received checklist : 9/06/2010 (they are looking for the IV package) hmmm, ummm, I KNOW! So was I!

IV Package on AVR : 9/10/2010

Received Checklist 9/28/2010 (said PCC not in correct format)

Case Complete 10/13/2010 ( have not received replacement PCC from wife yet to send into NVC, How can this be?) I'm not complaining!

Interview 11/08/2010

PS As of 9/11/2010, USCIS website still not updated, shows NOA-1 date and... blah blah blah. don't count on them folks.

The RFE is sent via postal mail to yer USC Spouse.

You might want to ask her to copy it on a scanner, email it to you, so you know exactly what's being asked for.

Sam,

Once you get the RFE mail, act fast what they are asking.

Follow all the instructions in the RFE letter and send ONLY to the address in that letter. Package must be highlighted with "I-130 RFE RESPONSE". Probably, you may need to include the copy of the I-130 receipt notice as well with the RFE letter copy.

When they receive your RFE response, it should be cleared soon and it might take up to 60 days as well.

aw man.. i remember i got an rfe about my divorce papers.. i hurried up and sent them what they needed.. i wanted habibi with me fast :thumbs: ..follow the instructions to the letter with that rfe :yes: i believe everything will be ok :star: many blessings :star:

Sam we did the 129f fiance petition and we had a RFE got it 14th June collected what they wanted I sent it back express post 16th June as I was in the states at the time they received it over night in Vermont and we had email 2 days later they were continuing with our paperwork. So get on it ASAP and don't worry too much ok. You should not have to wait long at all.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month

It often is very fast...go to immigration timelines....then Igors timeline...pick pick your consulate and run the search of approved apps....you will see many that got rfe...and then approvals within a very short period.
