hello again u guys and gals. need your inputs. don't really want to make mistakes.

i searched the site but couldnt find answers..

im really confused with Question 10: Citizenship

Im naturalized .. so how does this go..

[ ] Birth [x] Naturalization

[certficate number:12345]--------> i got this one

[ ]Parents -----------------------> what does this mean?

Certificate in my name

[ ] YES [ ] NO ---------------> am i suppose to tick YES? are they asking the same as the 1st one?

[certificate number:12345] -------> again, are they asking the same as the 1st one?[/

02/08/2012 AOS Application Sent.

02/10/2012 Delivered

02/14/2012 NOA Text & Email received

02/21/2012 NOA received in mail for I485 & I76.

02/25/2012 Biometrics letter received. Bio scheduled at 1pm on 03/12.

02/27/2012 Successful Biometrics Walk-in done!

No they are different.

Did you apply for naturalization on your own (meaning you filed your own N400)? or did your parents do it for you?

If you tick on Naturalization, then type in your Certificate number, that's fine.

But if you received your Naturalization as a result of your parents applying, then you tick that box, and provide the information as requested.

N-400 Timeline

02-23-2018: Sent N-400 Application online

02-23-2018: Date on NOA, retrieved from online account

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!

on my own mam.. so i'll just leave the parents blank. and the last two boxes? do i tick YES? and provide the same cert number again?

one last question, for now:) .. dee was married but officially and legally annuled.. on Q6 of her marital status..

do we tick DIVORCED.. even if there is no divorce in the Philippines or SINGLE?

btw, marriedtomrg, this is joe_dee, i changed profile names..and this is the Joe part.. we're both using this account.
