Hi all, in a few days I'm gonna have my my test, I got my I-797C notice of act along with the Interview Document List, and I was wondering what exactly they mean

in point 3. If you are applying for naturalization on the basis of marriage to a US citizen, bring:

E. Proof of Marital Union as well as proof of residence

what do they mean what is it? The State I.D.?

According to someone who had already the test on the basis of marriage to a US citizen, what you brought in to the Immigration while you got your test?

Any reply would very appreciated!!!!!!!

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13

Marital union examples would be be your joint-bank statements together, utility bills or any bills both in your name, insurance, rental agreement boht in your name or if you own a house that both in your name then you can use that also. I mean anything that would proved that you are married and live together in one roof. Proof of resident is your GC and your passport proved that you have lived continuously in the US and is eligible for 3yrs or 5yrs rule requirement for citizenship.

Was thinking of enclosing a video of my wife and I making love together, but think the USCIS's idea of a relationship is paying bills and taxes together with a complete sharing of your wealth like legally owned purchases. A vehicle, a home, a lease, spouse being a beneficiary of your insurance, etc. Stuff like this.

On our first honeymoon which time wise should have been our second, we were way to busy filling out forms for the USCIS during our AOS to go on a honeymoon. We celebrated by going to our electric company with our joint names on it, and paying the bill from our joint checking account. The USCIS loved seeing that, the bill and the canceled check.
