That happened to my husband on his interview date. He was fingerprinted, told ot swear an oath, and paid the money for the visa that day. They also took all documents needed that day. The only problem that day was that the CO rejected our joint sponser because they claimed that it wasn't an "original". He was told to take his passport and that when we sent in the original they would ask for his passport to stamp the visa on it. Now its been almost 5 months since that day. We sent in a new joint sponser two weeks ago and are hoping for the best.

Good luck hopenfaith! Congressional enquiry can get exact status update in your case.

OMG, hows that possible?!

Is that the meaning of this organisations USCIS and NVC to pay attention on aout dox and they r giving us RFE when need!

Why we need to wait for interview and then if something happen to waste more time of going through all proces!

I can't believe, I thought if u r in the embassy for interview ur dox r good!WOW

Loto, the blue slip that i got says that ....'the office is unable to issue you a visa....' so is this a visa denial or is this just the pretty way in which they like to scare people?

I always think of any 221G as the final, ultimate Request for Evidence.

In China the 'slips' are colour coded -

White for Denial OR a Call In Letter

Blue for 'need more evidence (221G)

Pink/Red for 'Approved'.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
