Hi all -

My husband has lost his Immunization/Vaccination card. Hospital has no records as well since they did not have computer then and do not keep that old data. What to do? is it a big issue? how to resolve it?

Thanks.

It is not a big deal, Devraj. Visit a family physician in India and analyze his blood and make a report of available vaccinations in his blood. U.S panel physician will accept it and they will provide only any missing ones. This way you can save some $$ also.

BTW, check with your VFS office. They have some pre-defined days before the actual interview for the applicant to show up.

Can he just go to the U.S panel physician without immunizaiton/vaccination records and doc could administer the vaccines as needed? Or some sort of records are required before seeing U.S panel physician?

--- I removed my post because it may have some type of misinformation --

You can try to call the Medical Examiners directly and talk to them there. They should be able to answer your questions over the phone about those types of details.

That can be done too, at the medical exams... he may have to take couple of shots.

I think it is worth it to meet with your spouse (I know that what my wife told me).

I always think, you are guy... my bad.

Don't worry, he will be happy to be poked couple of times to see you in US. If that is the case, he is going to have fever for couple of days... tell him to rest. :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

Prior vaccination records are not needed, but optional when you visit the panel physician. The problem here there may be some gaps between some of the vaccinations and if you go to the panel physician at the last minute, it may be a problem. If this is the case, go for medical with the panel physician at least couple of weeks before the interview.

Thanks guys.

Its not a big thing. when he visits the physician's office. they'll determine what he needs. Most probably he'll get MMR, Varicella and Tdap, so just 3. Rest its kinda upto the physician.
