Hi All

Just wondering how long you waited to get your approval after an RFE? Does the VSC usually take longer than the 60 days? We only have 2 weeks left of the 60 days and it seems they will either go over the 60 days or right up until the last hour :(

K1 Visa Timeline

11 June 10 - I-129F sent

16 June 10 - NOA1 Received

22 June 10 - Touched

23 June 10 - Touched

17 July 10 - Touched

26 July 10 - RFE (Grrr)

03 August 10 - RFE reply received by USCIS

07 August 10 - Touched

03 October 10 - Touched

03 November 10 - NOA2!!!!

05 November 10 - Received email USCIS NOA2 approval!!!

I don't know what other people's experiences have been, but ours took almost the full 60 days. Our RFE response was received at VSC on July 16, and we were just approved on Sept 9. We were starting to get nervous and impatient and then just when we were thinking we would need to start harassing them to finish it and then it came through (got the text at 11pm on the 9th lol).

We signed up for text and email updates on our case and so our dates aren't when they came in the mail but when our case was updated online...we had no touches at all between July 16 and Sept 9. Fingers crossed yours will come soon!

K-1 Visa ~ VSC

Sent: April 1, 2010
Interview Date: Jan 18, 2011
APPROVED!!
POE: March 4, 2011
Wedding: April 2, 2011

Adjustment of Status
Filed AOS, EAD, AP: May 4, 2011
NOA: May 16, 2011
Transfer to CSC: June 1, 2011
Biometrics: June 9, 2011
AOS Approved: June 27, 2011

Removal of Conditions

Filed: April 13, 2013

NOA: April 17. 2013

Biometrics: May 31, 2013
