Yup, got a text and email today at 5:00pm! I was floored. I started crying and hugged the random stranger next to me. (He was shocked, but then hugged me back.) :)

I was dead set that we were going to get an RFE since I only sent in the form and fee at first. I did mail another packet of papers in early January, but got no confirmation it was ever matched up to my petition. It must have been though, because there is no way for an approval without an RFE if I were not matched up.

I am beyond speechless right now about it! :)

Go go CSC! More approvals, please! Share the wealth!

Hi kiwibird! Congratulations on your approval. I also fear that I will get a RFE because I did not send a copy of my passport but your story gives me hope. Congratulations again and good luck on the next step of your journey.

Have hope! It's possible!

Did you include any evidence of having met? If not, you could always try mailing a copy of your passport to your Service Center with a copy of your NoA1 on top. Like my situation: It's worth a shot! :)

Ok.. i just talked with a higher level person at USCIS, officer G. She was very nice and agreed that I was outside of the processing time. So she will put in the service request for me. Yay! Hopefully, this will speed up the process.

By the way, they look at the Received Date, not the Notice Date when computing whether you are out of the processing time or not.

Congrtaz for NOA2 i want the no on which u have contacted also give me the extension if not available how can i approach high level officer for my case plz guide thx in adavance

It's the same customer service number you call USCIS. Just ask to speak to a higher level (2tier) customer service after they are done reading off their scripts, and they will transfer you to someone who really knows what's going on.

The first person I talked to, she said that CSC is working on August 16th applications. So, i knew she knew nothing. And when I asked her to transfer me to a 2tier person, she did that without questinos asked.

Good luck with your case. Let me know if you have any further questions, and I will gladly assist you.
