Adding a family member to I-130

Is it possible to add a family member of the beneficiary after USCIS has accepted the I-130? Would this provide further delays in waiting time? I also read somewhere that there are rules to who can be brought depending on the age of the petitioner, is this fact? Thanks for any help, kind regards and good luck.

who is the family member and how old is the person? why wasn't he or she listed on the i130? You might need a new i130 depending on the answer. can't guess, we need more details.

So your husband is petitioning you, and you want to bring your mother? You cannot bring your mom, sorry.

You need to wait till you get to the US, then petition for her yourself.

Sorry, you cannot add family members to an I-130 (assuming your husband/wife is petitioning for you)

You'll have to wait to become a citizen then you may petition for her

Uhm - on a spousal visa, where the petitioner is a USC, no.

There are other categories, though, F4, for example, where it is possible to add people in, but it's so nebulous for me, I don't study that type in any detail.

Yes, you can file your mother's I-130 exactly same like your wife. Write a special note when you filing I-130 for your mother's to process with your wife's. USCIS may or may not combine both.

It is totally a separate petition, not within your wife's I-130.

jjjdddlll - you cannot add your mother-in-law to the petition. In fact, you cannot petition her her at all. Your wife may petition for her mother when she becomes a citizen!

Not your wife's brother also.

Other people of beneficiary are beneficiary's minor sons and daughters that could be her child(ren) in your wedlock or her child(ren) in her previous marriage
