How long before I receieve a number so i can track my progress online. I mailed the I-129F on Aug. 2, 2006. Thanks!

It will be on your NOA1.

Or, if you can see the back of your check when it's cashed (if your bank displays it online or something) I believe CSC stamps the back of the checks and prints the case number on there.

I got my NOA1 first though.

I believe it takes 1 - 2 weeks to get your NOA1 in the mail. Used to be the case anyhow....

04/13/06 - I-129F mailed

04/18/06 - NOA1

08/30/06 - NOA2

09/26/06 - received at NVC

09/27/06 - forwarded to consulate

20/11/06 - visa in my pocket!

14/01/07 - POE

13/04/07 - marriage

27/04/07 docs sent in for AOS, EAD, AP

26/06/07 - biometrics appointment

02/17/07 - AP and EAD arrive

03/03/08 - Infopass - where the heck is my AOS interview?? No one knows!

If you look at my signature timeline you can see how long it took for me. I mailed mine on August 1 from Oregon to Nebraska.

When my check was cashed on the 14th I was able to go to my bank online and view the back of the check. So for me 14 days.

The WAC# was what I used at the status website.
