Hi All,

We never received packet 3, but sent in all the required info after a long call with the Embassy inquiring as to what to do. That was on August 2. We still haven't received packet 4 with an interview date. Calling the embassy seems like a waste of time since they were useless last time (said you are going to just have to look it up online) Is there any other way to find out if they have lost our packet? Or a way to find out if they have scheduled an interview date? Our i129f expires on October 17. Sooo frustrated!! Please help!!

Don't worry about your NOA2 expiring. London will extend it so long as you've submitted your P3 forms and are continuing the process. They understand that sometimes it takes longer than expected to get it all completed.

When calling the DOS, press 1 for the main menu, then 0 to get to an operator. That'll bypass all of the garbledygook you hear when it starts up.

I called every single day once we knew our P3 forms had been received there (Royal Mail confirmation) until they told me they'd logged the forms, and then till they told me we had an interview date. It took 2 1/2 weeks for them to log in the forms and then another 2 to 3 business days to schedule us an interview date for one month later. DOS told me all of this before we had any word from London.

Good luck!

Also, yesterday my honey got the paper with the interview date (packet 4)!! So, if I hadn't called, it still would have shown up.. but instead we got to be excited a few days earlier!! Good luck calling, once I got to talk to the woman, it was really quick. Make sure you have your case number ! I also recommend pressing those buttons, I listened to the garbleygook and it was just a million options and phone numbers for things that didn't pertain.. Best of luck!!
