Personally, there is no time for optimism. Its time for action. Until I see some real action, my optimism will be about as active as the Vermont Disservice Center.

It doesn't matter who is optimistic, pessimistic or feels some other way. We are all different people with different personalities.

What does matter though is that we all take action, present a united front and show the Vermont Disservice Center that we mean business.

Yeah, take action, I want to see you taking action. This is me looking. Other than calling them and contacting the congressman, what's there to be done? Really...

Hello all, reporting in to the September 2010 filing group. NOA1-- 17 Sept.

I don't envy the VSC workers with such a constant backlog. That would be a bit demoralizing.

I hope they find a way to make the process more efficient and easier on them and on those of us waiting. :)

Hey yall!

First time posting, I have been looking at Visajourney for a while now but just found this thread of fellow Sept K-1 filers! Congrats to everyone on their engagements!

Here is my timeline so far, judging by my research & recent historical data, CSC people should get NOA2 in around 5 months, so we should all hear something next month (Feb). Keep your fingers crossed! I will give you an update as soon as I hear one.

We're looking much better now. And if it stays this way for, let's say another six to eight weeks, we'll be looking real good.

I don't know about you, but I take nothing for granted.

Hi everyone! I am so glad VSC is finally moving!

I have a question though. Do you guys think that a wedding on the 23rd of July is at all possible?

My fiance and I only planned to get married at a court in the US and just have the big Catholic wedding here in the Philippines next year. Plans have changed since his family wants us to have 2 big Catholic weddings now, 1 in the US and one here in the Philippines. Now I'm having massive convos with his mom, preparing and all. Set tentative dates and now she's working on having the Church and the reception reserved on the said date. I kind of feel like it's feasible but I am still having second thoughts. Your opinion/s on this will be highly appreciated. I don't want them to be paying for things and then suddenly have to move it 'coz I can't be there in time for it.
