September 2010 K1 Filers

Woohooo!! I'm sure you'll move there by April. All of us Sept. Filers on this thread will move there by January-February.

That will be true for most of y'all, but we still have to deal with Montreal after this. They're currently the slowest consulate due to a lot of backlog and it'll likely be a couple months' wait for our interview, too - although they've recently moved from assigning an interview date to letting you book your own online, which may not get us in there much sooner but it means we'll know when the interview date will be sooner, so I'll take that win.

I just registered into this and since I've found lots of people who are also September filers like me for the k1 fiance visa, i thought i might as well join too =] ...I have a quick question, where do u guys check that your application has been touched?

Sweet, We are looking at the same time. Her cousin just announced his wedding in April, so we decided to just make that week after the date she will move here. It hurts to give up 2 more months, but at least no matter what we should be good for that time.

Go here --> Sign-up for Case Updates --> Register as an applicant customer --> Then accept those terms and create the account.

You have your receipt notice, so use it to add the case to your portfolio and it will show there when's the last time you've been touched(last updated).

Well, January-February is a great estimation. It won't happen later than that. Our consulate is pretty fast and even if they approve us in December, we'll have our interview in January and shortly after(2, 3 days after the interview) we'll be gone already. I don't wanna spend another second here like it happened before when we could just see each other for like 2 weeks or so. I want to move to my new home - our home sweet home.

Is anybody else as OCD as me? I'm totally being driven crazy by that entry on Igor's List that says 2010-10-8 instead of 2010-10-08 because it's sitting at the top of the list instead of with the other October 8th approvals...
