Just wondering if I can email my DS-230 after paying the bill, if my husband has not sent in his I-864 yet ? We are still waiting to get information to complete his. Also I am a Canadian citizen but born in England, should I also include a copy of my Citizenship papers as well ?

yup - if yer USC spouse ENROLLED / OPTED IN for NVC Electronic Processing,

then you (the beneficiary) can email the DS-230 'set' into NVC, AFTER the 'barcoded coversheet' is available to be printed on the online payment portal.

some caveats:

--OPT IN must have been successful

--DS-230/IV fee bill must have been paid already

--IV barcoded coversheet must be attached to the email set

The NVC has established a program for the E-Mail/Electronic Processing of immigrant visa applications.

E-Mail/Electronic Processing can reduce immigrant visas processing time substantially. E-Mail/Electronic

Processing is available to a limited number of Embassies/Consulates.

If your case will be processed in:

? Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, you must submit forms and documents electronically via e-mail.

? Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, the first three letters of your case number are MEP, and you are pursuing one of

the following type of visas, you must submit forms and documents electronically via e-mail:

? CR1 Conditional Spouse of United States Citizen

Uhhhh?? If this person is canadian and Is doing a spousal visa then the only place it is done at is montreal! Vancouver only does fiancee/ K-1 visas

sorry back again. OP is asking about emailing paperwork therefor she is doing EP. However I cannot help out with this question as I dont know the answer. I would think that as long as you have paid both the ds-230 and the aos fees then it shouldnt matter what paperwork you send in first. I did send in the Aos first then the ds-230 packet and had some time in between. I am sure someone else can answer your question better I would include your citizenship paperwork just to be on the safe side.

Hi. You must be 'late to the game'.

CR-1/IR-1 interviews are ONLY done in Montreal, for Canada (yes, the Whole Country)- no other Embassy/Consulate in Canada handles the interview.

If you'd like some clarity, please review post #2.

In essence, though, yer wrong about this, if you wish to 'stick with yer answer' from post #3.

Darnell is spot on, I know because he helped to point me in the correct direction when I was going through NVC and opted in for electronic processing.
