....it is not until October 26th!!!!! :angry: I'm glad he finally has a date but come on. Almost 4 months to the day later after he sent out packet 3????? That just sucks. sigh. Nothing I can do about it but it makes me angry and very bummed that we have had this stretched out for 4 months from packet 3. I think that is completely rediculous, especially when Meliss' packet 3 was only 7 days ahead of ours. I know. They apparently have no rhyme or reason to what they do. I just need to vent.

1/28/06 Sent I-129 to TSC

2/08/06 Received NOA1

4/24/06 NOA 2 online

5/01/06 NOA 2 Received in the mail

5/11/06 Case Received at NVC

6/01/06 Packet 3 Received

6/28/06 Packet 3 Sent to Montreal

10/26/06 Interview date - POSTPONED :(

01/25/07 Interview Postponed.....again

11/01/07 Third and final Interview date allowed.

The stats say 2-4 months to get a Montreal interview, so we're all prepared for the worst. But look on the bright side. You escaped IMBRA and the ulcers it caused. You can see the end of your journey. You're going to have one helluva Halloween party. October is not that far away. You've got time to prepare a terrrific homecoming. Others don't know if they'll be spending Thanksgiving and Christmas alone.

I also got my interview date for my K3!

I called the consulate yesterday to confirm that they received my packet 3 checklist that I sent on July 14th. They said they did and they have also scheduled a date for the interview on October 25th.

So it looks like there is no rhyme or reason to how they schedule the interview dates. At least we are seeing the end of the tunnel!! :blush:

Both of you guys are laughing! End of October is great weather for driving. Imagine getting an interview when snow is falling and all of Montreal is somewhere under it. (Excuse me, I have to go find my winter boots.)
