I have not received my request for evidence for my K-1 Visa 129F package I sent in 5 months ago. They said they sent the request for evidence on Aug. 19, 2010, but I have not received anything. There is also an expiration date for this RFE, but they won't tell me when it is when I write or call them. It will be dismissed after all of our hard work getting the package together if we do not receive the RFE soon I bet. We also paid the $455.00 as well. Then we will have to go the K-3 route I think. Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the RFE and when the expiration date might be? The customer support phone line isn't helpful, yet they are rather rude and every time I write the Vermont Service Center, they don't answer my freaking questions! :angry:

They expire after 30 days so you definitely need to call them ASAP and get this sorted. Good luck!

It's a general term, only you will know what evidence they are requesting and unfortunately they won't give you the explanation over the phone or e-mail, they make you wait to receive the letter.
