From K1 to Removing Conditions it has been (looking back) a long process. We were fortunate to have no RFE's or Interviews however, so that made things a little easier. I suppose we will see you all in 2013? Lord Willing. Time has passed since we started this whole 'legal' process & this world has changed since then .....and one thing remains true though .....I love you, Jenny! See you all in 3 years!

Hi,

I remember seeing you in the CR1 spouse visa forum . I am also from India. I got my 10 year GC this August . I think Ican apply for my Citizenship next year. I was just finding out the required evidences to be send for that. I read that we have to send divorce decree of previous mariages, which we have already submitted for the CR1 visa, still should we send it again? Do you have any idea?

Hello! Probably the divorce decree will have to be sent again. You know the USCIS - they want the same thing every time we send a new application!

I actually wasn't in the CR1 forums because we did K1 visa. Anyway, good luck next year with your Citizenship application!

DavidandJenny - Have a nice break from USCIS! I guess we are just eager to get it over with, so we applied as soon as we could! Also, if hubby gets citizenship and afterwards an OCI card for India, we don't have to worry about visa or re-entry permits in case any urgent family emergency takes him to India.
