If your concerned about the 10 year age gap, I would not be concerned! There are many here that have much bigger age gaps. I know of some very successful relationships that have big age gaps and went the K1 route. I would think one of the most important questions in the consulates mind will be to the young wife, "are you prepared for 5 kids"? Financial support as well maybe a question, but if you above the poverty guidelines, you should be all set there.

Thank you for your quick response. Well, i won't marry her for taking care of my 5 kids. My concern is, will they think that she just wanna be in US for working as a nanny because she worked as maid before?. We know love is blind but you know, it is not like that for US immigration.

i think that if you have a lot of documents proving your relationship is genuine then you wouldnt have a problem.. she can even work if she wants to there even before you get married (after filing necessary documents that is..)

I don't think the fact that the OP has 5 kids will be a red flag for visa fraud in any way.

What they will want to know is can he SUPPORT 5-6 kids plus a wife who doesn't work?

Not a relationship test, just an income test.

The family size is not an issue as long as he has sufficient income to sponsor the fiancee. It all comes down to demonstrating a bona fide relationship.

What country is the fiancee from?

@ Anh map.

She's from Malaysia. Will it make different where she come from?

Some embassies/consulates are tougher than others. Knowing where the interview will take place can help VJ members when giving feedback.
