Hello all,

I am filing a K1 for my fiancee very soon. However, my address is going to change in couple of months and I am not sure what the new address is as I need to find one. Is it possible to notify USCIS of the address change while the application is in process. If yes, then how?

Regards,

Vivek.

MAKE VERY SURE you inform CIS when you change your address.

All you do is call them when you've moved. Don't get confused and think you have to fill out a form. Your fiancee will have to do that if you ever move when she is in the US. But when the USC moves during the process, no.

Summary: Just call USCIS.

If I'm not mistaken, you're only required to provide an address in the U.S. So, alternatively, you could use another address when filing, one that you're sure won't change. It could be your parents' or a friend's, for example.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.
