The CFO stamp is required before buying an air ticket through local Phils travel agents but what about purchasing a ticket online?

It is not required to purchase a ticket online. But the CFO stamp is required to leave the country and will be checked at the immigratoin checkpoint at the airport. Also since your purchasing online the travel tax will not be included but will need to be paid at the airport - Php 1650.

Are you buying the ticket on behalf of your SO? If yes, you will need to provide a copy of your credit card and a copy of your passport with your bio page and signature (to verify the identity of the credit card owner) to be attached to the eTicket. They will check that at the airport, too.

I bought Mhay's ticket online before she got her CFO stamp. She didnt need a copy of my credit card (lucky I guess but we rolled the dice on it.). Depending on which travel agent you use online it may include the travel tax, but in most cases it doesnt...so your fiancee will need the 1650 Php + 750 Php to leave the country.
