when Assembling the I-130 Package i have to make copy of ALL pages of my US Citizen's passport?

Thats like 28 pages, am i right?

You don't copy the blank pages!

USCIS's own instructions are clear, that when a US Passport is used as evidence of citizenship, you are to include a copy of ALL PAGES. Your point about blank pages appearing meaningless is noted. H

How do USCIS know that all the pages are blank? How do USCIS know that there isn't something written on the other pages? Beside the pages for Visas there are also pages for Amendments and Endorseme

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

I have seen passports with amendment/endorsements. Also one of my Visas stamped on my passports is not is sequence - they skipped a few pages and if I send just the pages with the Visas - USCIS will want to know what happen to the pages in between. :whistle:

How do USCIS know that there isn't something written on the other pages?

You are correct.

As for me, I didn't have my birth certificate so I copies all pages of my passport. Not just to show proof of my citizenship but to also show proof (visa) that I visited my wives' country a few times. So you can say that I included the passport pages w/visas (along with the boarding passes) as proof of a bona fide relationship - that I did visited her.

2. Might most people prefer to risk receiving an RFE from a governmental drone with a literal mindset, or might they prefer to follow instructions exactly (common sense aside) and avoid an RFE?

OK anyone can send whatever they wish. My passport has 24 pages, with the inside and outside of the cover thats 26. I felt better sending ALL pages of my passport including the blank ones. Passports are pretty small in size so when you make a copy you end up copying 2 pages of the passport on one sheet of paper. And on the same sheet you can have 2 pages of the passport on the top of the page and 2 on the bottom of the page. So like I didn't end up with 26 sheets of paper, I only had 7.

Arguing back and forth about sending or not sending blank pages of passport is meaningless. It doesn't hurt sending a few extra sheets of paper. If anyone thinks otherwise than just don't send those pages.

Seriously, what part of the words "all" and "pages" do people not understand? When compiling documentation for the petition your job is to do what the instructions tell you to and NOT to guess or assume what things mean. It's simple English people. Please try to pay attention to the language we all agreed on.....

Travis,

The I-130 instructions don't say "all pages". It just says to submit a copy of your unexpired US Passport. I know what you mean though :)

A US passport goes up to page # 24. Guys, if you are asked to submit a copy of something, it means the WHOLE thing not parts of it. Interpret literally and assume nothing.

Read what thekfc says in post #19 above:

"How do USCIS know that all the pages are blank?

"How do USCIS know that there isn't something written on the other pages?

"Beside the pages for Visas there are also pages for Amendments and Endorsements. How would they know that there is/isn't an Amendment/endorsement on a person's passport?

"I have seen passports with amendment/endorsements. Also one of my Visas stamped on my passports is not is sequence - they skipped a few pages and if I send just the pages with the Visas - USCIS will want to know what happen to the pages in between."
