Mailing address vs Physical address

Hello,

My Husband and I reside with a family member. We do not have any utility bills in our name other then credit cards/store cards/insurance/cell phone bill/tax/etc... But the thing is most of our mail goes to my mailing address which is a PO Box. A few come to the physical address. I had this PO Box for a few years now. Therefore the address which displays on the bills displays the PO Box. However the account when open has the physical address noted on file. Will this be an issue? Do I need to get a copy from the accounts showing the physical address at least? I will have my relative write up a sworn affidavit stating we've been living there every since such and such date.

Also how far back do we need to submit evidence for each bills? As far back as when my Husband was added to them or the most current statements? I'm in the process now of getting our documents together to send off in roughly 2 weeks time.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

The best solution is to get a written letter from those accounts stating that both people are listed on the account and the state when the account has been open since. Another thing you can do is to include a copy of the credit cards showing same account on them with different names. A P.O Box would really create a wrinkle in your evidence list (assuming you just submit that).

Yes - get a sworn affidavit from your host and have them indicate details about their knowledge of your relationship and include that the bills and everything is under their name.

You need to go back 2 years, since the AOS was granted.

Ok, thanks I will get statements showing both my physical and mailing address then. Also when submitting his drivers license/ins card - do I also need to submit mines?
