Advice on assembling K-1 Visa packet

Ok, so I have the following things ready to go for my application:

I-129f

G-325a, both mine and hers

Fiance letter of intent to marry, hers and mine

Proof of citizenship (all pages from my passport) and included birth certificate just as a plus

Copies of receipts from my visit and plane tickets

Pictures of us together as well as the passport photos

Copies of Western Union money wire transfers to show financial support

Skype call logs

Phone card call logs

Facebook message history

Yahoo messenger history

Have considered adding some emails also, but may not

Now that I have all of this information together, I am wondering several things.

First, am I sending tooo much stuff, or have others here sent all of this same stuff to show proof of relationship? I want to have more than adequate evidence showing our relationship, and at the same time, if too much would be a detriment, then I don't want to do that either, so is there a balance point?

Secondly, I know I need to put together a cover letter, so after the cover letter I was thinking about having a page printed that would go in between each of the sections above, just to make the evidence more clear cut, so should I do that, or just buy some adhesive tabs and use that instead?

Also, what do you all normally do as far as putting all of this together, since it is a LOT of paperwork...do you just leave it all loose and go like that, or do you bind it somehow, or what is typical to do in this situation to make sure it is "reviewer friendly"?

What about the pictures...do you just put all of the pictures of you both together, as well as the passport photos in one ziplock bag together, or do you separate them out, or what is the best way to deal with the pictures?

Whew...just super nervous and want to make sure the application is "right" if you know what I mean, so that when it is opened by the person reviewing our application, they get it in a way that is easy and friendly to use, so just really looking for feedback for what all of you out there have done regarding the questions above? Hope I have not asked too much... LOL

Thanks in advance for all your thoughts and help shared!!!!

any tabs, seperators, file sliders, folders, binders etc get thrown away as soon as they open the package. They take a part the file, place things the way they want it in their own folders with their own clips. Dont waste money that you dont need too on seperating pages and sections, just use the cover letter to state each section.

The ammount sounds correct, only thing I dont see is passport stamps to go with the ticket recipts/itinerarys.

Seperate the pictures, on the back of the passport ones your names need to be on it.

On the back of the family photos, names, dates, places need to go on it. I also put relations ie "fiance father Robert" etc so they see relations.

Just used a giant paper clip, clipped it all together in order. Stuffed it in the envelope ( put the address on first before u stuff it all in makes it easier to write on )

Make sure the check is RIGHT in front of it so they cant lose it.

Make plenty of copies of everything. At our K1 Interview, my girl was asked, twice, about how many times I had sent money. She said 5, and the Visa Officer thought she was not correct. I had sent 1 money wire transfer and 4 Western Union. I believe the Visa Officer did not see the money wire transfer. So on our next Interview, I have prepared a cover letter of this with downsized copies of all moneys sent. Everything you send, the Visa Officer should be able to see and read easy, and also your beneficiary needs to have copies and fully understand everything sent in.

I agree with all the above statements, you have got it all. To reiterate make sure all photos have dates and where they were taken on the back(5-10) pics , and yeah don't forget to make copies of everything for you to keep at home for future reference. I am not sure about the cover letter as I think my fiance USC just wrote the one.

Put all forms i order as advised with a paperclip go through it all before you send off and place cheque at front made to Homeland Security.

Good luck and go get them lol :D

All sounds good to me, any passport stamps or flight tickets you could add in to prove you met each other in the last 2 years? Not just photos?

Dont waste your money on dividing it all up and making it look pretty as they dis-assemble it anyway so its not worth your time. Just make sure everything is labelled clearly and once you think your have it all there and you have checked it time and time again.............you are 100% positive its all there and in order........i would check it again  Make sure everything is dated and signed

Good luck on the visa process and dont forget to add in alot of patience and persaverence with your submission as you will need it along the way

The ammount sounds correct, only thing I dont see is passport stamps to go with the ticket recipts/itinerarys.

Well, since I made a full copy of every page in my passport, according to the instructions, then that would have the passport stamps in it there, but should I make a copy of just the pages where the actual stamps are as a second separate paper to go with the plane ticket stubs also, just so they have that in a different area, or can I just assume that since they have all pages of my passport, that they will just look for the entry/exit stamps there when they see my plane ticketing information?

Not sure what is the correct approach...any thoughts?

Thanks for all your help everyone! :D

I would say if in the pack you have the pages of your passport stamps in there somewhere then dont copy them again

sounds like you got everything. but double check it with the example and info under the Guides tab at top of page.

That is what hubby and I followed and no problems.

Be sure and make copies (front and back) of your birth certificate.
