I, on the other hand, do not have the case # yet.. I keep calling NVC, but it's "we don't have a record of this case # (CIS), it's either you have entered a wrong case # or we have not received your case files yet", or something, EVERYTIME I CALL! I got the approval letter 8/27.. And I'm getting a little antsy.. I'm scared something happened to my files in transit.. :(

I-130

12/22/09: I-130 receipt date (Sent by lawyer to CSC)

8/20:10: Approved/NOA2

9/03/10: NVC # generated, gave e-mail adds

9/08/10: Received IV/AOS fee bill

9/09/10: Paid AOS/IV

9/13/10: Mailed completed AOS, enetered into the system on 9/14

9/19/10: Mailed completed DS-230, entered into the system on 9/22

10/13/10: CASE COMPLETE!!!

04/06/11: Case upgraded from F2A to CR-1

05/03/11: Final review completed

05/17/11: Interview date scheduled!

wait a full two weeks after the 'noa-2 notice date' - then start calling NVC - see http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467 for some steps, when slinging things into NVC based on payment portal status.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

you just said it is two weeks today...your NOA2 date was just last week on the 27th. Relax Kim11, it has been 8 days, not 14.

Edited by apeters

7/2/10- NOA1

2/9/11- NOA2 (transferred to Texas)

NVC

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

Keep the faith, everything works out for the very best

ah - is some 'language/math' problem.

Here, when I mention 2 weeks, I do mean 14 full days, calendar days.

so break out yer calendar again, mark 8/27 on it, move forward 14 more days, put a big X in the calendar.

That's the day NVC SHOULD have yer stuff. It could vary, but I've never heard of 8/27 to 8/3 being two weeks, ever. Not on any western calendar.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

No, no. I meant 8/27 was the day I received the NOA2 FROM the mail, but the notice date ON the NOA2 was 8/20.
