from looking at most timelines on this website and people i have met in person who have had cases ( k-1 ) in ankara embassy i figured out that the embassy informs you about five months prior to the interview date.

seems like its about three months prior to the date for the embassy in UAE is three months.

correct?is it even possible to set an average timing like that?will it be accurate?

I would not go by estimates/averages.

We were all set to get interviewed at Ankara, then President Obama came over to Turkey to visit, so they pushed everything off for a month or so.

Took us 3 months after they got our package for an interview.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
