Hello,

Check has been cashed, but I didn't get NOA1, neither in the email or regular mail.

If check cashed, does it mean application has been accepted, and should I have received the

notice by now, at least in the email?

12/07/2010 -- AOS fee paid

12/10/2010 -- DS-3032 NVC Received

12/11/2010 -- AOS I-864 mailed

12/15/2010 -- IV Bill invoiced

12/16/2010 -- IV Bill showed as paid

12/16/2010 -- DS-230 sent

12/17/2010 -- DS-230 NVC Received

12/21/2010 -- Entered DS-230 into the system

01/10/2011 -- RFE for i-864 signature

01/11/2011 -- RFE NVC Received

01/13/2011 -- RFE entered into system

SIF - 01/31/2011 :) Thank God!

Case completed - 02/01/2011

Interview - 03/29/2011 Scheduled on 02/11/2011

Wait 1 week to get NOA1 by mail, after the check clearance. That's a positive sign of I-130 acceptance.

some people got their receipt # off the back of their check but it wasnt on mine (maybe they stopped doing that?)

i was calling them on day 11 and they were still saying i wasnt in the system, and the same day in mail i got NOA1.

check had been cashed, day before that the receipt was input, and NOA1 was mailed 2 days later. I had it in hand and still they were showing on computer it was not even rec'd.

so dont sweat it, check is cashed, now sit back and wait (gotta love the govt, is every branch of govt "hurry up and wait"?)

if you gave your info (receipt #s, full name, etc) to anyone on VJ under the guise that they would "help" you through the immigration journey with his inside contacts (like his sister at USCIS) ... please contact OLUInquiries@dhs.gov, and go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact to report anything suspicious. Contact your congressman and senator's offices as well.
