Im going to send I 130 soon but have a question.

i have original marriage certificate in my country language.

But my wife in europe has also international marriage certificate which is in english.

Which COPY of marriage certificate i should send?

It will take TIME to get certified copy of international marriage certificate from my wife....

Can she just fax me a copy of that certificate or that must be certified?

Hello

I am not sure what is the meaning of an international marriage certificate but If the one in English is a translation of the original one, then send a copy of both.

For USCIS (I-130), attach photocopies of your marriage certificate and international marriage certificate. Make sure you mention on the covering letter about attached enclosures.

With I-130, just photocopy. Original is required at NVC stage later.

05/07/2012 - I-864 AOS package received by NVC

05/07/2012 - DS-3032 COA accepted

05/08/2012 - DS-230 IV Fee $230*2 paid

05/09/2012 - DS-230 IV package mailed to NVC

05/11/2012 - DS-230 IV package received by NVC

05/17/2012 - Case Completed

Consulate

07/02/2012 - VFS visit in Cochin

07/04/2012 - Medical in Chennai

07/12/2012 - Interview in Mumbai - Success!

09/08/2012 - POE at JFK, NY

photocopies only, for I-130 submittal.

certified copies, later, during NVC processing (you'll have about 6 months of waiting, so you have time to generate the other certified copies).

ps - please reread the I-130 instructions, as it mentions photocopies in the instructions. If you were not aware of the photocopy requirement, you may have missed something else, like the 6 types of bonafide marriage evidence.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
