Hey I've been doing a lot of reading on how the K1 visa process works and what to expect and so far everything on this site had helped A LOT!

The medical examination worries me because on most sites its says to take with you your vaccination records.

I know I have had some of the really important vaccinations whilst attenting H.S but I don't have any proof of this. I don't even have any of the ones from when I was a baby. Has anyone else had this problem?? (I'm from Australia)

Hey Chloe :) I'm kiwi but living in Australia and had the exact same problem - my vaccination records were long lost. So I went to my local GP - she arranged a simple blood test and then gave me a letter which advised what I had immunity to. I gave this letter to the physcian at the medical and problem solved :)

dont worry b4 u proceed to the vaccination room u will be ask to have an interview 1st by the panel physician . prior they give u a shot even u dont have the record anymore they will inform u 1st what vaccination is preffered to ur age and intervals that was given to u.just relax everything will be fine just pray always :D best wishes and GODBLESS us always:D

No problems :) there's no date validity on the letter as it is purely confirming that you are immune to the childhood diseases that you were vaccinated against :)

When I went to have the medical I was told the only shot that I needed for my age bracket was a booster and he administered that one only on the day.

Yes same here I got a vaccination report from my family doctor that I had had all my shots as I am 52 and do not have all my chid hood ones either the last one I had was tetnus in 2006.

When I went for medical in Sydney he looked at my letter and all I needed was the swine flu shot which he gave me last december. thats it so don't worry

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month
