REALLY??? :o Im so sorry to hear that ygr. Maybe it's really unreconcileable differences. I'm very sad to hear that. :( Goodluck to you. Move on with your life. I know someday, you'll meet the guy that is really meant for you. (F) (F) (F)

But still im hoping everything will work out to both of you. I know you love each other but the stress of waiting alone is just very tough to face.

he really changes his mind too often to say working on the problems will be enough.

the distance is getting nearly unbearable and causing more problems than every couple regardless of the distance and nationality deals with.we will see how things work out tho.but im not gonna get on VJ anymore.its kinda heart breaking to see how people who were on the same boat as us are moving on with their petition and life, and we just fell apart.ill update my status if things start looking up

Please keep us posted. A few of us have been going through this journey together and now have a sort of bond. This process truly can make or break a relationship.

hi thank you for the help. finally i saw my last update (TOUCH!)...it was last touched last Nov 15, 2010...is it near (noa2)????

hi......

considering that our noa1 dates are just a day apart, we hope and pray our touches (2 days apart) mean approval....

our petitioners have to wait for the noa2 hardcopy in the mail.......

in my case, as of this morning (sunday here saturday evening in the states), nothing in the mail yet.....

hopefully 3-5 working days from the touch we will be able to have them on hand.....

praying that ours will be the approval, not anything lesser than that.....

just curious..... since you are in dubai, do you work on your papers there?

or you have to be here in the phils to work on it?

if the latter, then, you will be home soon !!!!

we are all moving forward....

and co vj members here are endlessly helping one another by sharing actual experiences.....

thanks everyone !!!!

Ygr i understand how you feel because right now its the same with my fiance and i and i think we are also on the verge of breaking up. Its like we never say i love you anymore just argue then hang up on each other. And while im breaking my back he is taking out his frustration with hanging with his friends and spending the money he is suppose to be saving. Im getting close to saying im done while he on the other hand says he doesnt care if we stay together or not. Hang in there you guys will probably work it out. You've gone too far to just quit. This coming from someone who thinks about it alot.

I think during this process, people really begin to show their true colors. I mean if something this important can cause people to start doing unsavory things then maybe the couple should really start rethinking things. I mean if he is acting like this now, what will he be like when the relationship hits roadblocks once married. I wish the best for everyone regardless of the end results.

Exactly what ive been thinking. And i understand he is frustrated and he didnt spend much of the money but at the same time he did spend some. We really have to have a serious convo about it and figure it out because i cant live like that. Knowing i am trying everything and he is willing to give up.

Oh really Nandi?

How long have you been apart?

I know every couple's story is different.

Mine for instance...we met in London and moved in together after 6 months seeing each other. We have lived together for a bit more than a year and a half and have been apart since August.

It is hard...but this is making us so much stronger..it is weird...i love him even more...I will never spoil this with unnecessary arguments. Like I said everyone has a different experience. We are quite laidback but I feel you!

I hope that things with Ygr and the fiance will get sorted. It is always heartbreaking to hear stories here about people breaking up because it was too hard to handle.

Well its been about 7 months since we last saw each other. I know the distance is what is causing the problems because when we are together we do work it out and it never gets bad. But because we dont see each other and all we have is phone calls not even skype or anything just phone calls its tough. We do love each other alot and i think thats why we havent already given up. We've been together 3 yrs and 2 months now and most of it ld. We get to see each other once a yr for about a month and a half to two months and then thats it. This journey has made us closer but because we havent seen each other in so long the frustration is a bit much. He just called and apologized for the millionth time this morning and said he will replace the money from his other acct. Idk y he took from the savings in the first place. But it would be so much easier with the arguing if we were together. We always work it out before it gets too much.

Distance, distance ... It is always easier to work things out in person. Just had another argument. Trivial stuff like the upcoming holidays and I won't be there. Stupid TSA invasive pat-downs and the June/July filers' application stall. Stuff like that. I do hope ygr gets it worked out too. We are all nearly there already. Sigh

we have been apart for seven months as well.our main problem is finances too.

he is expecting me to wait seven more months until our interview date to see him and to be honest, seven months apart is unhealthy as it is,let alone 14.i know for a fact that if i dont see him within the next month or two,i will fall apart and along with it our relationship.i have been in pain and misery for the past seven months and the fact that he has the nutsack to tell me he wants me to wait even longer, when he saw what i went through is what making me have doubts
