Hello

I was reading on the NVC Step from here http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

But there are certains things that i do not understand in the guide

1- is form of-169 equals to form ds-3032

2- what documents and forms should i fill and submit to my wife so she would have them ready before hand

3- According to that line from the IR1/CR1 guide ( Forms that may be either sent back (or requested to be gathered and kept for the interview) to the NVC or the consulate abroad (depending upon which consulate you are going through) before an interview date with a consulate abroad can be scheduled are as follows: ) i understood that i can request to just gather these documents and keep them for the interview ...... is that right ? and if it is right how would i go about doing that, and does that affect the visa processing time or not ?

Thank you in Advance

Look at LingChe's shortcuts. It is a better guide to NVC

Be proactive with NVC or it can take months to get through

Good luck

Hello

I was reading on the NVC Step from here http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide1

But there are certains things that i do not understand in the guide

1- is form of-169 equals to form ds-3032

There is no OF-169, rather you should just read your consulate's website about IV processing and also read the NVC website about what is required.

2- what documents and forms should i fill and submit to my wife so she would have them ready before hand

Get her to fill out and sign the DS-230 and the DS-3032. You might want to practice filling it out first to make sure you get the right answers. Maybe have her sign multiple copies just in case.

You have to send all documentation to the NVC. You will not see any of this documentation again until the interview date. This documentation consists of all the items for the DS-230 packet and the AOS packet. If you go the NVC website you can see exactly which documents are required for each package.

Thank you in Advance
