Nina&Plamen, That was in the past when K3/K4 was damn fast. USCIS does 'not encourage' K3/K4 non-immigrant visa path.

Now you have to do IR1/CR1. For child, CR2.

K3 visa is not being processed anymore. They would close this and not do anything with it if you file for it when you already filed for a CR1.

Why would you not just apply for and use a visitor visa to go and visit.

you filed I-130 for a spouse?

did you file I-130 for spouse's child?

FWIW, the availability of a K-3 visa, and derivative K-4 visa, is all but 'gone' since 1 FEB 2010. Please review http://www.visajourney.com/news/2010/02/07/department-of-state-to-close-k-3-visas-if-i-129f-and-i-130-petitions-approved-and-received-together/

Good Luck !

You 'may' try for tourist visa, just to 'visit' your spouse. It may or may not deny, but don't try to make it as a weapon to immigrate to the U.S.

Many poeple have visited their spouses during the immigration process. If you need the thread of those people, let me know.

I'm sure that I can't apply for nonimigrant visa while waiting for imigrant one because in us embassy in sofia they r saying that u r not aloud to apply for nonimigrant if u r going to becom imigrant.

I just want to visit my husbant because he can't get off of his work and not possible to travel this year but wont immigrate on turist visa, otherwise i wont wait all the loooong proces till now.

But may be i will stay and wait for intervew then, it's just too long wait.

But thanks guys.

I hope finaly the intervew to come soooooon!

Based on your timeline, your I-130 was approved in a reasonable timeframe. You seem to be stuck in NVC process. What's holding on you there?

Since the I-130 is already approved, a K3 visa is not a possibility.

Did you file an I-130 for each intending immigrant?

Hi

thats right, with a CR-1/IR-1 path running you wont be able to find a turist visa, because it is clear the inmigration intention.

I know it is hard to hear that, but your only option is to wait till the process end.

babybyrd, This is one of the links: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/270163-visiting-my-husband/

But never try to overstay or adjust status while in the U.S. Also, carry sufficient documents to show the tie-up of your country, just in case, to show at POE.
