Hi everyone :) just wanted to ask you a brief question. I am about to move very soon (same city) and i'm having a pending case of I-129F visa application (soon to receive NOA2 i believe). Does anyone know if change of address could result in delaying of NOA2?

Should I just forward my mail to my new address and wait to receive the NOA2 first (before i change it officially with USCIS) or should i change it right away? I just want to make sure i'll get the NOA2, and with no delay..

any advices are welcome..

tnx in advance ;)

USCIS Change of Address Link

US citizen files online the address change then gets a paper notice that it was accepted.

" 1. U.S. Citizens

If you have moved, and you have a pending case, you can change your address online here on our website. Please note that the law does not require U.S. citizens to file a Form AR-11. "

Check out the link its pretty helpfull.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

tnx for the quick response Inky :)

i know how to do the change of address, but my concern is if i do it, could it lead to NOA2 delay (and i dont want that..)? probably there's no way any of us can know the answer, but still i'm looking for any opinions or suggestions - should i risk it or wait till i get the NOA2 and then do the change? (yet again i can just forward my mail..) i believe it's a matter of few weeks to receive the NOA2.. (hopefully!!!)

sorry.. i know it's little confusing, i'm just trying to find the best solution.

tnx again for ur time :)

i'm sorry, it's me again.

i was just thinking.. , maybe my question should be:

what if i want to change my address, after i receive the NOA2? (i really don't want to do it before that :innocent: )So, let's say i already have the NOA2, (and again hopefully!!) it's approved, and forwarded to NVC. How am i supposed to do the change of address then? Should I contact the NVC, or is there an online tool to do that (with the NVC already, because my application won't be with "pending" status alredy?).. hmm?

TNX..

Ud have to change it with USCIS and the nvc i think then if you waited for NOA2..

Our change of address only took about a week to get confirmation mail on it. Its completely up to you really lol, you could put in the change of address and have all your mail forwarded as well just incase?
