Interviewed - received pink but delay in getting actual visa

So all went well - interviewed on 8/12. Got pink but still waiting on visa. It does say upto 21 days on the pink slip. Should I be worried? Thanks in advanced!

The level of concern depends....where did you pay to have the visa shipped to? It seems to normally take less than a week for most folks. We shipped to Shanghai to my cousin's apartment, it arrived in 4 days, and then he reposted to Chongqing with no problems.

Coupla things to check:

--EMS tracking # - http://www.ems.com.cn/qcgzOutQueryAction.do?reqCode=gotoSearchE

--call Dos Hotline (# in my profile) - ask for case status. Also ask, specifically, if the case is in AP (Additional Processing) or not in AP.

if not in AP, then yer golden.

if IN AP, grrrrr - send off an email to the GUZ IV unit via http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/immigrant-visa-unit-question.html

and ask what's going on.

if no AP, keep checking the EMS Tracking portal once a day, until you see some change.

NO EMS as she will pick up in person.

We will fax to GZ consulate and ask why the delay.

Will try the email and check with DOS as well.
