How's you're pregnancy going by the way? My SIL is due in 4 weeks and we had her baby shower this weekend. All this baby talk is driving my (clucky) crazy

Thanks! I'll be going to the states tomorrow only for 10 days so I'll be sorting it all out when I return.

My pregnancy is going well so far. During my last ultrasound about 3 weeks ago it was doing a hand stand, bouncing around and flipping everywhere. At the time its only suppose to be around 7.8cm from crown to rump (head to bum) but mine was 11cm!!! Father of the baby is 6'3 so it pretty much sums it up...I started to feel movements as early as 13 and a half weeks..just little flutters here and there - didnt think it was possible until they told me its a longer baby than average...Im not even half way but already wanting it out! I know that not all of my friends are the 'mummy' type so I try to keep the baby talk to a minimal every now and then

She shouldnt have to, the baby is american by parentage, lucky little one....

HOLEY COW!!! You havent seen each other in 2 years? That is just nuts, the most Chris and I have gone is 6 months and I was a horrible person to be around at the end of that....

Yeah I know ... We never intended to wait this long to file but things just kept happening ... he got pnemonia twice this last year and then his grandma passed away then his aunt Shirley (grandma's sister) had a car accident on the way back from grandmas funeral, 3 months later she passed away and they had to have her funeral ... it was just one thing after another, by the end it was like enough already! its time to think of us .. Ya know ... and here we are!

I just received the results of my medical exam back via post....but I have no idea if I passed or not. The results came in a sealed envelope addressed to the consulate, which came in a bigger envelope with a form letter response that said "please find enclosed medical report to be taken to your interview at the US consulate in Sydney."

Is this the norm? How long do I have to wait until I find out if I passed everything?

I'm just really worried because I've been waiting for these results for almost a month and now I don't even know if I passed or not.

I don't have an interview date yet, as my fiance hasn't yet mailed back the I-134 and supporting docs to me.

I was under the impression I had to make copies of everything, that's why I was really thrown by the results being in a sealed envelope addressed to the consulate. Now I don't know what to do - open it and make copies or leave it sealed and have no evidence that I ever received the results.

I agree it is wierd .... I wasnt told to make copies but I did anyway ... I knew I passed when I walked out, all I had to do was wait for the blood test results which I knew would be fine anyway ...

I wish there was a clear set of directions ... checklist said to send them in with the rest of the papers for pack 3 ... everyone says a different thing and it gets more confusing by the minute ... Thats why I copied everything just incase ...

Email the consulate and they will be able to tell you what to do

Though it does make more sense to have the results sealed.. unsealed means that people can tamper with it and change information

I got a response from the consulate this morning regarding my medical results:

"Thank you for your inquiry.

Please leave the medical documents sealed in the envelope they came in.

You can bring this envelope with you on the day of interview."

So I guess I have to wait until my interview to find out if I passed.

I find it SO bizzare that neither the doctor nor clinic indicated to me in any way if I passed or not. Especially since

a lot of you who had your exams done (albeit in different states) were told your results. This is just making me more panicky and thinking perhaps I didn't pass it after all.
