yaaaaaaaaaaaaay sharyna that didnt take long for you whoo hooo...

im so rapt for ya.. .. with your expiration it dont make sense to me with that officer telling you that..because the expiration date pertains togetting everything completed by then.. if ya get me.. so in other words.. when you get your NOA2 and you have an expiration date on it you have to have your interview date by then. just if your expiry date is sept she shouldnt of even had to mention your extension....its confusing but at least you have your visa and your on your way mate...

dont mind me sharon just interesting to me that she stated it needed extending when it wasnt expired...

10-31-06 - Touched

01-29-07 - Found out from USCIS that my lawyer had filed at the wrong service center and nothing has been processed.

02-08-07 - Found out that our petition had been closed back in Oct. 2006. No one was ever notified of this from USCIS

02-09-07 - Began gathering paperwork once again to start all over. Started cancelling our wedding plans

02-20-07 - Filed for a K-1 visa once again

02-27-07 - NOA1

04-21-07 - Originally planned wedding date (had to cancel) :(

05-22-07 - Touched

06-01-07 - Granted a Congressional Inquiry!

06-15-07 - NVC received our approved I-129F petition (I never received an NOA2 via email or snail mail). We are just so HAPPY to finally move on!

06-25-07 - Packet 3 received (but it was rec'd by our lawyer, she has forwarded it on to my fiance in Australia)

06-28-07 - Fiance rec'd Packet 3

06-30-07 - Finally rec'd NOA2 via snail mail. It is dated June 25, same day as Packet 3 was rec'd.

07-05-07 - Mailed back form letter DSL-1076 (Applicant's Statement of Readiness to be Interviewed).

07-05-07 - Just waiting now in hopes of an interview date before APEC

07-13-07 - Received Packet 4

07-30-07 - Interview!!!! - APPROVED!

09-01-07 - Fiance arrives in the USA!

Great pics Jess! Reminds me that I need to post mine :blush: We got married on the 14th.... Let me get something together.

I know I haven't been around much. Just been working and being a wifey. :D I got hired on full time at the law school I was temping at which I am happy about. It is a nice school and the people are nice compared to the hell hole I was previously working at.

For the past two months here it has been raining averaging 4 to 5 days out the week since May! :ranting: It is beginning to get real annoying! But it was nice out for our day on the beach and that was a blessing.

Congrats on all the approvals and good news all around!

Sugarbob mailed off his AOS on the 24th. I think I have to check on that.. now off to get the pictures. 9.gif

Kath - Thank you for making me feel better about the AOS package. It says it got to Chicago today so I am hoping that all will be well. Whew... that was a close one for us lol

moonie glad you got a full time job out of that law schol ..how is your man adjusting to the weather and state side...

i was putting all our camcord tapes on dvd today..as a story of our holidays our interview and our wedding and this years vacation...was nice seeing where i use to live an listening to robbie try and play the digeredoo in my old lounge...am i getting homesick .. i dont know .. just glad i got it all on dvd now to remmernis...

so for those who are leaving oz get hold of a camcorder and do a video of your town, family and friends cos a year down the track if you havent gone back to oz for a holiday at least you got something to look at ...sighhhhhhhh

ohh by the way how did i do that rings .. lol...am glad it arrived at chicago safely .. an better yet even great that ya got it in before the fee hike...way to go ...

Your picture looks all romantic and the water looks lovely! In the Gulf we are not as blessed with the blue water. :blush: It is more like a dingy gray. LOL

Thanks!!!!!!!! I figure in about 4 hours or so, I will be receiving the phone call! So I've been trying to keep myself busy today to pass time and not think about it. Getting ready now to try out a new zucchini/leek salad recipe. I tend to cook when I'm nervous...which would be fine except I eat it too! :whistle:
