My deepest condolences Elle. (F)

Dogs are amazing animals. They are the the most loyal of family members and always stay by your side. I wish you and your family the best.

On a brighter note, congrats on the job Hammy! I should probably get a job at Home Depot since I am always in there getting odds and ends for my home! How do you compare it with Bunnings?

Congrats to you too Lyndel! Are you PM of testing now? I have a buddy that works for Verizon in the NJ (Bridgewater?) location.

Good luck on your medical Sharyna!

Keep packing Tristessa...actually just come with a suitcase and go on a shopping spree over her. ;)

Thanks so much everyone! I am almost as excited to share this with you folks as much as the wife

Yes Kath, Vy was VERY EXCITED! I know the NVC moves faster so I will start researching the shortcuts and getting my I-864 form ready. If I can get things in order soon there is still a chance I can achieve case complete at the NVC before I fly out. I would LOVE to have all that done so I can enjoy the wedding with "Mrs. vylex" (LOL Kath!).

I wish everyone the best, whether it working late hours, packing, recovering from a family loss, travelling, or continuing the journey. :)

YAY CONGRATS ON YOUR NOA2!!!!!!!!

Hammy - You nailed it! Can you tell me what day Loke will have his interview? I figure that you giving me dates seems to help and I am willing to do anything at this point.

Kath - you rock and you are so supportive to all of these people here. I hope everything is going well at Kmart... I love that store.

Keep your heads up everyone.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your dog :( I love dogs, but it is good that he is not hurting anymore. My thoughts are with you *hugs*

Update on us

We got packet 3 and Loke is sending it back in the mail today (part 1) and his medical is Monday and he already did his police check so he should get the results for that any day now. I am still bugging him to call them anyway so I think he is going to call them today. He has had ever immunization under the sun so I am sure he will be ok in that regard. I sent him a package with the duplicate copies of the I-130 and the I-129F the other day and today I am mailing him the Affidavit of Support. I am not sure what else I can do from my end so I am going to do what any normal paranoid person would do and start researching and preparing for the Adjustment of Status and EAD stuff lol.

NOTE: I am not in Human Resources, I am a office and industrial logistics coordinator.

*hugs all*

Hey Elle, so sorry to hear about your doggy, your Mum must have been very sad....hey now though chin up girl...I know it's really hard to leave your family but you have come so far and all your hard work and committment to the visa journey. You'll get through it and you've got us anytime you need us! Ok! Sending you hugs... (F) PS your posting made me teary so I cuddled my kitty kats...I love animals...they give us so much.

Hi Kath and Hammy, I've been flat out like a lizard drinking!! The job is awesome except that I don't have a laptop yet...should be here tomorrow or friday. My role is sort of analysis and one of the PM's for testing and release of some new IT services. The people are really nice and glad to have a goofy aussie on board to give them some comic relief. Plenty of overtime too which is good...need to catch up after being unemployed for awhile. The car is great too...had a near miss in the rain the other day...a guy tried to change lanes into me without signalling and I had nowhere to go.....scarey but built some confidence. It's scarey to drive but great to get your independence back!

Glad to hear your job is going well Hammy and Kath what is happening at Kmart, are you having fun yet?

Hope everyone else is doing ok and keeping positive! We have started on the AOS merry go round Yuck! Another waiting game.....

Heya Paul,

I'm looking at your timeline concerning when your case was recieved by NCV & the DS 3032 & Bill sent and can see it only took about two weeks for NVC to receive it (it took three weeks for ours) and then it took about three weeks since your case was received/case number given..guess that means I should at least wait till next Tuesday till I begin to be anxious yeah? What do you think?

Didn't you guys say that I need the NOA2 for the Adjustment of Status? I know that I do not need it for the Affidavit of Support because the Embassy told me that they didn't need it in that e-mail I posted a ways back. I am going to send the letter from the NVC stating that our petition was approved, but I am worried about getting that NOA2 for the AOS when Loke is home. Whats your opinion?

hey kath

i'm doing ok considering... i'm getting more and more impatient..... just want it all over lol....

i called Police HQ - they told me that they had sent my criminal history to me on wednesday.... so am hoping ot get it soon..

i also mailed back to the consulate the biometric or biographic data form (whatever that thing is called lol).....

i've filled in online the part I or part II of that other form - and printed it out (the one you have to sign in front of the consular officer at your interview).... and my fiance is mailing me his affidavit and bank statements etc - info on the mortgage of his house - value of it etc.... to give them more then enough info...

i've got my medical on tuesday - got all my vaccination boosts.... and the doctor at the medical centre did a letter on letterhead for them, and wrote down all the injections he gave me (he had a field day when he gave me all those boosts lol)....

so .... so far.... so good...

after reading all this if you think i've missed something from your own experience please say so.... oh and on the weekend i'm printing out the pics from my holiday with my fiance at kodak... more evidence.... and i'm getting more passport photos done for the medical - they told me they need 4.....

so have i missed anything?.....

sharyn :-)
